I decided to design lighting fixtures in vivid colors that would accent spaces even when they were not turned on. I drew the desktop light without really changing the basic form‚ but arrived at a very gentle silhouette. The uniqueness and personality in the overall impression comes from the details in the handle. Leaving aside the need for handles when the item is moved, the light, airy details of the handles contrast the rounded silhouettes of the shade and supports, making it a crucial element in the overall shape of this lamp.
