​​While still a student, I created a bench for two lovers. It was a place for the intimate friendship of a married couple or for a new couple in the initial stages of love, a place to narrow the distance between the two of them as they try to become honest about their feelings. It was a very enjoyable object to design. I thought seriously about what kinds of attitude and posture would be the most romantic for bringing the two lovers together. I studied the width, depth, and angle of the seats in detail, and what I arrived at was an architectural objet with a complex shape. I later learned that there were already benches with very similar silhouettes, but I believe my work is an original.
